One important note: If your vehicle does not have an Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror, the dash cam can only be powered from the OBD port or fuse box, as it cannot share the power source.

FITCAMX dash cams are engineered to be compatible with specific vehicle models - the wrong model will not fit properly. Additionally, if you already have the single front camera installed, you cannot add a separate rear camera, as the PCB boards are different between the front-only and dual-recording versions.

It's important to note that your phone cannot be connected to both CarPlay and the dash cam's WiFi simultaneously. However, the camera will automatically start recording when the car is running, so you don't need to keep it connected to the camera at all times.

The camera's WiFi is not remote-accessible. If you need to download important footage, please do so while the car is running and the engine is on. The dash cam features an audio recording function that can be enabled or disabled through the FITCAMX app.

If you experience issues with video preview, try turning off the cellular data or Bluetooth on your device. Cellular data is not necessary for daily use of the dash cam.

The FITCAMX dash cam comes with a 64GB MicroSD card and supports up to 128GB of storage.

Installation is straightforward. Simply unplug the Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror's port to access the shared power source, as shown in the provided images. We offer tutorial videos and a user manual to guide you through the easy installation process.
