IMPORTANT NOTE: FITCAMX dash cams are only compatible with specific vehicle models. The wrong model will not fit. It does not support adding a rear camera separately if you already have a single front camera, as the PCB boards are different. The phone cannot be connected to CarPlay and dash cam WiFi at the same time, but the camera records automatically when the car starts, so you don't need to keep it connected to the camera all the time. The camera's WiFi is not remote. Please download important clips to your phone while in the car and the engine is on, if needed. The camera features an audio recording function, which can be turned on/off in the Fitcamx APP setting. If no preview, turn off the Cellular Data/Bluetooth when viewing video in the App. It's not necessary to turn off cellular data in daily use. ***Frequently Asked Questions: Q1: Do I need to turn on the dash cam every time? Is the WiFi needed to be connected to start recording? A: No. The dash cam will be automatically turned on/off, along with your car engine. You don't need to connect with WiFi manually after the first use; the dash cam will auto-on when the car is started.

Q2: Can I view the video after turning off the car? A: The video will be automatically saved on the MicroSD card (NOT the phone). 1) If you've manually downloaded all the video to your phone while the car was running, you can watch it even after leaving the car. 2) If you want to view all the videos that haven't been downloaded yet, you can only connect with the built-in WiFi when the car is running. 3) You can watch all videos when the MicroSD card is inserted into a PC.

Q3: I have the 4K front-only version, can I add a rear camera to it separately? A: NO, YOU CAN'T. You can only change to a new entire set, as the front-only and dual-recording versions have different PCB Boards.

The Fitcamx camera can work normally at -20°C to 85°C (-4°F-185°F), so please don't worry. 1) The surrounding space of the camera is small, and the vehicle's original parts nearby will also cause high temperatures. 2) The camera's installation position is under the windshield, in direct sunlight during the day, which causes high heat.

Q5: What if my phone can't connect with the WiFi? Is the Fitcamx APP safe and stable to use? A: The WiFi can only be connected when the car engine is started and the dash cam is working. If you can't, send screenshots of the WiFi and APP page! The Fitcamx APP is safe and easy to set up; you can download it from the APP Store or a browser.

Q6: Why doesn't my car have parking monitoring? Can I upgrade to this function? A: It depends on whether your car's power plug can supply electricity continuously, which is designed by the car manufacturer. If it can be powered continuously, there is a parking mode; otherwise, there is not. To upgrade with this function, it requires an extra harness cable.
