The phone cannot be connected to CarPlay and dash cam WiFi simultaneously, but the camera records automatically when the car starts, so you don't need to keep it connected to the camera all the time. The camera's WiFi is not remote, so you need to download important clips to your phone while in the car and the engine is running, if needed.

Featured with an audio recording function, which can be turned on/off in the Fitcamx APP setting. If no preview is available, turn off the Cellular Data/Bluetooth when viewing video in the App. Cellular data does not need to be turned off for daily use.
