The phone cannot be connected to CarPlay and dash cam WiFi simultaneously, but the camera records automatically when the car starts, so you don't need to keep it connected all the time. The camera's WiFi is not remote - you need to download important clips to your phone while in the car with the engine running, if needed.

The dash cam features an audio recording function that can be turned on/off through the FITCAMX app. If you experience no preview, turn off the cellular data/Bluetooth when viewing videos in the app. Daily use does not require turning off cellular data.

The FITCAMX integrated dash camera looks OEM from the outside, with no cable routing or windshield blocking. It is suitable for 2022-2024 Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid models with a vent hole (DOES NOT FIT 2021-2024 RAV4 Prime and 2019-2021 models).

Unplug the ACC Sensor's port to get a tandem shared power source. This operation does not affect the normal use of the dash cam. FITCAMX dash cam is simple to install, with no need for new connections, and it won't interfere with the safety system.
